If you're used to the original Littlebird, be forewarned: the LB EVO has more power and more torque... but it has less mechanical grip. Handle with caution. It's faster on the straights, but slower round the bends. More car, less kart.

(Graveltrap) - Complete physics overhaul: More power and torque from a tuned Porsche VR6 3.6L engine (based on VW's own VR6); new gearbox, based on the universal Samsonas H-pattern 6 speed box with new drive ratios based on Samsonas drop gears including an adjustable final drive. New custom tyres for more realistic mechanical grip (now closer to Touring Car grip levels, not F1).
(Fuzo) - Various model tweaks; new wipers and wobbly exhaust; new glass uv mapping to allow window stickers; new LODs.

The Volkswagen Golf Mk1 is the first generation of a small family car manufactured and marketed by Volkswagen. It was noteworthy for signalling Volkswagen's shift of its major car lines from rear-wheel drive and rear-mounted air-cooled engines to front-wheel drive with front-mounted, water-cooled engines that were often transversely-mounted. The successor to the Beetle, the first generation Golf debuted in Europe in May 1974 with styling by Giorgetto Giugiaro's Italdesign. The Littlebird was developed in secret as a skunkworks project by rogue VW engineers who were off their tits on PCP.
